Our Love Story

Our story began in October 16, 2017, when two people met at the police station—both simply going about their own lives, with no idea that they were about to meet the person they would eventually spend forever with.

We became buddies at Barangay Outpost 202. At that time, neither of us imagined that this simple assignment would become such an important part of our lives.

In fact, the funny part is… we tried to avoid each other.

We kept our distance and tried not to make things complicated. We probably thought that it was better that way. After all, we were just two people who happened to work together.

But somehow, no matter how much we tried to avoid each other, we just couldn't seem to stay away.

Little by little, the awkwardness turned into conversations. Conversations turned into friendship. And without either of us noticing, that friendship slowly became something more.

There were no grand plans, no perfect beginning, and definitely no idea that this would lead to marriage. It was simply two people who kept crossing paths, sharing moments, making memories, and eventually realizing that maybe there was a reason why life kept bringing them together.

Looking back now, we can't help but laugh.

We were so busy trying to avoid each other, when all along, we were actually being led toward each other.

Through the years, we got to know each other beyond work. We saw each other's strengths and weaknesses, our good days and not-so-good days. We learned how to understand, support, forgive, laugh, and grow together.

And somewhere along the way, the person we once tried to avoid became the person we looked for after a long day.

The person who was once simply our buddy became our best friend.

And the person we never expected to fall in love with became the person we couldn't imagine spending our future without.

From “I’ll avoid you” to “I’ll marry you.”

Who would have thought that a simple assignment at Outpost 202 would lead us here?

After all the years, the memories, the laughter, the little arguments, the challenges, and all the moments that brought us closer, we finally realized that perhaps our story was never about avoiding each other.

It was about finding each other.

And now, we are ready to take on our biggest assignment yet—not as buddies, not just as partners, but as husband and wife.

No more avoiding.

No more running away.

This time, we're choosing each other—for every ordinary day, every adventure, every challenge, every laugh, and every chapter still waiting to be written.

Because sometimes, the best love stories don't begin with love at first sight.

Sometimes, they begin with “I’ll avoid you.”

And somehow, beautifully and unexpectedly, they end with:

“I’LL MARRY YOU.”

And this time, we're not trying to get away.

We're choosing forever.
