Our Love Story

It all starts way back in 2010, during Jan and Arnz high school days. Jan and Arnz met through an online Facebook game called iMingle, and later transitioned to Pet Society (haha!). Jan was based in Manila, while Arnz was from Cebu. Eventually, they became online best friends and shared everything with each other their secrets, lives, families, school drama, and first crushes. They laughed and cried together through countless phone calls.

That is actually how they got their call sign, "Rain." Back then, every single time they called each other, it would rain. They didn't know why, but it genuinely felt like the weather was reacting to them! So, that is the history behind their call sign.

The reason they never became boyfriend and girlfriend back then was because they were still young, and they knew a long distance relationship would be too difficult. It was all about the right time and the right place. Jan went on to have a 5 year relationship, and Arnz came from an 8 year relationship before their paths finally crossed again.

It all started up again with something as simple as Jan reacting with a sad emoji to Arnz's Facebook "My Day." From there, everything fell into place, 7 hour straight video calls, and 5 to 6 hour catch ups during their rest days! Finally, they met in person for the very first time.

God truly brought them back together. Some people say they are soulmates, and it really feels like it they share the same birth month, the same birth year, and have only a 5 day difference between their birthdays. They trust God’s plan, and they will always have faith in Him.
