Our Love Story
From Strangers to Soulmates: Our Journey of Love, Faith, and Forever
Some love stories begin with love at first sight. Ours began with two strangers walking the same school hallways.
We were batchmates in high school, with classrooms right next to each other. We often passed by one another, but never really knew each other. We were simply familiar faces—strangers sharing the same campus.
Everything changed during our fourth year of high school when we were both part of the CAT. I was a Cadet Officer, and he was a Flag Bearer. What started as simple conversations soon grew into a genuine friendship. After graduation, however, life took us in different directions, and we lost communication.
Years later, while we were both in college, fate brought us together again. One day, as I was sitting outside my boarding house, I saw him walking by with his classmate. We greeted each other warmly, surprised to discover that we were studying at the same school. Not long after, he sent me a text message. We started catching up as friends, making up for the times we had been apart.
Little did we know that those friendly conversations would blossom into something much more beautiful. In the most unexpected way, friendship turned into love.
In 2011, we began our forever together through a civil wedding. Soon after, God blessed us with our first daughter, filling our hearts with joy and purpose. Like every marriage, ours was not without challenges. We experienced ups and downs, walked through difficult seasons, and faced many rocky roads together. But through xevery trial, we chose to fight for our love, hold on to hope, and trust in God's plan.
In 2019, our family grew even more beautiful as we welcomed our second child, another precious blessing from above. Through every challenge, God continued to provide for our family in unexpected ways, reminding us that His grace is always enough. For every blessing and every lesson, we remain deeply thankful.
Now, in 2026, after fifteen wonderful years of marriage, we are preparing for another beautiful milestone—our church wedding. This is more than a ceremony; it is the fulfillment of a promise, a celebration of God's faithfulness, and a chance to receive His holy blessing upon our marriage. As we stand before Him once again, we renew not only our vows but also our commitment to love, honor, and choose each other every single day.
Our story proves that God's perfect timing is real. Two strangers became friends, two friends became lovers, and two lovers became husband and wife. Today, we continue writing our story—stronger in faith, richer in love, and forever grateful for the beautiful family God has entrusted to us.
Our journey isn't perfect, but it's ours—and by God's grace, our best chapters are still to come.
