Our Love Story

September 26—
the day fate quietly placed our paths beside each other,
and six years later,
the day love brings us home to one another.

Once, it was simply a date.
Now, it is a memory, a beginning,
and a promise written across the years.

On September 26, 2020,
while the world stood still,
our story began in the most unassuming way.
He came to Tagaytay to celebrate my birthday
and, for the first time, met the people
who would one day become his family.

We did not know that an ordinary day
would become the first page of something extraordinary.

Our love grew quietly—
through neighboring apartments,
unhurried conversations, shared laughter,
evening tambays, and countless little moments
that neither of us knew we would one day treasure.

A friendship became a feeling.
A feeling became a love.
And love became home.

Through the years, it was his kindness
and the way he held family close
that made me certain I had found someone
with whom I could build a life.

And so, on September 26, 2026,
we return to the very date
where our story first began to unfold.

Only this time,
we are not meeting for the first time.

We are meeting at forever.
