Our Love Story
“He hath made everything beautiful in his time.”
— Ecclesiastes 3:11 (KJV)

Nephi and Lyndie's story began in 2015 at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), where they were both fourth-year students at the College of Science. Nephi studied Physics, while Lyndie pursued
Biology. Though they belonged to different programs, little did they know they were about to discover
something beyond science.
It all started with a simple message from Nephi. Perhaps it was chemistry, a little attraction, or God's
perfect timing that turned that hello into something special. What started as casual conversations soon
turned into longer chats, phone calls, and eventually, dates. Somewhere between the laughter, late-night
talks, and sweet little moments, ligawan evolved into love. And on April 29, 2016, they officially became
a couple.
Despite the distance between Romblon and Cavite, they found ways to make each other feel loved. Nephi
surprised Lyndie with handmade crafts and sweet gestures, while she returned his affection with simple,
thoughtful gifts. Together, they enjoyed trying different activities, exploring new experiences, and made
the most of every moment.
Over the years, they shared countless memories, adventures, and milestones while learning and growing together. Through distance, challenges, and life's uncertainties, they learned patience, understanding, and compromise. Yet through every high and low, they continued to choose each other.
While Physics taught Nephi about the forces that hold things together and Biology taught Lyndie about
life and growth, their journey taught them love is more than just attraction or finding the right person. It
is about growing together, understanding each other, and choosing one another every single day, even
when life is not easy.
On their 8th anniversary, Nephi once again asked Lyndie to marry him, just as he had many times before.
Her answer had always been YES, but this time, their promise of forever became even more special. Nephi
knew in his heart that Lyndie was the one. And Inspired by their love, the life they had built together, and his desire for a lifetime by her side, he embraced her faith, bringing them even closer in love and in God.
Now, after a decade together, they are ready for their greatest adventure yet. On December 12, 2026,
they will exchange vows and begin a new chapter as one, with God at the center of their marriage.
Looking back, they realize their story was more than a chance encounter. Through every season,
challenge, and unexpected turn, God's perfect timing led them to something no experiment could ever
measure: Their greatest discovery was finding each other, and their greatest blessing was having God guide them every step of the way.
“And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”
— Ecclesiastes 4:12 (KJV)
