Our Love Story
Primon and I first crossed paths in high school. He was an introverted volleyball player on the court, and I was a dedicated student leader immersed in academics and journalism. I quietly admired his sweet simplicity from afar, though our paths never truly aligned back then—not even on the day he stood outside my grandparents' house, faithfully playing wingman to a teammate who wanted to court me!
Years passed, and life added a few complex variables. College and career took me from Antique to Cavite as I became a Math teacher, while Primon pursued his passion as an Electrical Engineer. Then in late 2016, a simple “Hi” from Primon on Messenger unexpectedly lit up my screen. By March 2017, when he asked to court me, I initially said no—scared to navigate the long-distance equation. But as an engineer, Primon knew that a little resistance only builds a stronger current. With gentle persistence and steadfast devotion, he showed me that a true connection knows no distance, and the spark between us was built to last.
In May 2017, he made every second count by spending his only free day during a Manila field trip to meet me for our very first date at Mall of Asia. By June 27, 2017, I happily became his girlfriend. Though miles kept us physically apart, we anchored our hearts in our shared love languages: Quality Time and Acts of Service. Through intentional video calls, endless patience, and sweet gestures from afar, we made sure the distance never dimmed our light.
After years of growing together, our formula for love proved completely foolproof. When Primon traveled to Cavite for his Christmas vacation in 2024, he brought the most wonderful gift of all: a proposal on Christmas Day. It was the sweetest solution to our long-distance journey, and I gave him my absolute easiest "Yes!"
On December 12, 2026, we are finally closing the distance and stepping into a lifetime together, proving that when love is powered by faith, dedication, and genuine devotion, forever is the only answer.
