"Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends."

Our Love Story
Some love stories begin with a first glance.
Theirs began with friendship.
In 2018, Yssanne Brayl and Irene Joy met in college as Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology students and became part of the same circle of friends. What started as a simple friendship grew through years of laughter, shared dreams, unforgettable memories, and countless ordinary moments that slowly became precious.
For years, they remained friends, never knowing that the bond they had built would eventually lead them to something more.
Then came 2022.
Somewhere along the way, friendship turned into love—a love they chose to nurture, cherish, and fight for.
In 2023, they faced another milestone together. They completed their internship, graduated, and prepared for the Medical Technologist Licensure Examination. Despite the challenges and circumstances along the way, they stood by each other until they finally reached the moment they had both worked so hard for:
They passed.
Another dream achieved. Another milestone shared.
But their story was never made only of happy moments. Behind the smiles were struggles, uncertainties, misunderstandings, and difficult seasons that tested their love in ways the world could never see. They were not always strong, nor did they always have the answers. Yet through every season, they remained, learning to forgive, understand, grow, and choose each other again and again.
Then came 2026.
Knowing they were ready to take the next step, their families came together. In April 2026, Yssanne’s family went to Irene Joy’s family for their pamamanhikan—a meaningful moment where two families gathered to honor, bless, and support the love they had built through the years.
From two college friends to partners who have weathered life together, their journey has been filled with dreams, milestones, struggles, laughter, and love.
And with the blessing of their families, they now begin a beautiful new chapter of their story.
