our Love Story

Way back in September 2025, he sent me a message on Messenger. At that time, I didnt respond in his message. There was only one message of him that I reacted to with a heart, and little did I know that simple reaction would become the beginning of everything. From that moment on, our conversations never really stopped. Nothing was forced, and nothing was planned—it all happened so naturally. Before we knew it, we were talking every single day. Little by little, we became part of each other's daily routine. It all started as simple "Good morning!" message turned into long conversations filled with laughter, meaningful stories, and late-night talks that seemed to make the hours disappear. Eventually, those conversations became video calls, and there were days when it felt like something was missing if we didn't get to see each other, even if it was only through a screen. As time passed, we got to know each other on a much deeper level. We didn't just share the happy moments of our lives—we also shared our dreams, our fears, and the stories we rarely told anyone else. That's when I realized there was something special growing between us. Then came the day neither of us expected. At that time, I was on deployment under a duty alert with my entire team. I had gone days with very little sleep. We spent most of our time on the streets, exhausted, covered in dust, and constantly on the move. Honestly, I never imagined that our first meeting would happen under those circumstances. I was embarrassed because I looked completely worn out—sleep-deprived, exhausted, and far from the impression I had hoped to make. But despite all of that, he messaged me and said he wanted to come see me. Getting to me wasn't easy for him. He had to deal with so many obstacles along the way. He even took the wrong route, ran into several errands and unexpected delays, yet he endured all of it just to see me. As he was getting closer, our team was suddenly called back. A PNP bus arrived to pull us out and bring us back inside the camp. We finally saw each other... but only for a brief moment. Just a quick glance. Our team leaders were rushing us, and we had no choice but to follow orders. We had waited so long for that moment, yet it only lasted a few seconds. I thought that would be the end of it. But he didn't give up. Instead of going home, he chose to wait. Patiently, he stayed until our final accountability and debriefing were over. He could have left and made things easier for himself, but instead, he stayed without even knowing how long he would have to wait. And by God's grace, the moment we had been hoping for finally came. At last, we were able to meet properly—not just through a passing glance, but with enough time to talk, smile, and truly see each other without having to rush. After everything we had gone through just to make that meeting happen, I realized that some people are willing to sacrifice their time, comfort, and patience just to spend even a few moments with someone they genuinely care about. Sometimes, the most beautiful love stories don't begin with grand gestures or perfectly planned moments. Sometimes, they begin with a simple heart reaction, endless conversations, late-night video calls, and one person who refuses to give up waiting. And that first meeting—filled with exhaustion, sacrifice, anticipation, and genuine happiness—became one of the most unforgettable memories of our life.
